Singapore Travel Diaries Day #5 Say Farewell

HI GUYS, We've already gotten to the last day, time flies doesn't it? So our flight to HK was at 4pm which means we had to leave for the airport at around 1:30pm. We didn't have much time but my bf insisted we go on the cable cars at Faber Peak so that's what we did. We taxied it to the top of the mountain and view is AH-MAH-ZING~~

The tickets are about $29 per adult down to Sentosa Island one-way. You could add $1 to get a wishing bell but we had no idea what that was, UNTIL we went up a level to catch the cable car. OH the regrets, should've got one :(

There was a whole wall of these wishing bells, so prettyyyy. OH WELL, i just took photos of other people's bells :D

The cable car ride down was quite nice because you got to see a really pretty view. Wish we could've had the carriage to ourselves though, because we had a family of 6 with us and they had 4 kids D:

Our cable car let us down at Sentosa Island where we had Maccas as a quick snack. My goal is to try all the Maccas in the world because they're all special in their own way <3 Here we tried some fried chicken and cheesy fries MMMM. Definitely not something you can get in Australia!

Sentosa Island also has their own Merlion!

After that we go back to our hotel and with half an hour left before we have to go. SO we decided to roam the streets nearby. TURNS OUT we had a supermarket and hawker centre opposite our hotel, a shopping centre 5 minutes walk away and a seven eleven and Maccas on the same street!!! OMG and we didn't realise until the very last day?!?!

So yeah...if you can't book a room in Marina Bay Sands like us and am looking for a great hotel, Carlton City  Hotel turns out to, not only have nice rooms but is also SUPER convenient!! 10/10 Hotel.

That's brings us to the end of my short-lived trip in Singapore. Would I go back? Probably not. I say that because, its really too hot there... and too expensive... PLUS its super small so we pretty much went to all the sightseeing places in 5 days! Singapore in general was probably a 7/10, definitely a very enjoyable experience :)

Next, i'll be putting up my Macau Travel Diaries. I went there for only one and a half days but did TONNES of exciting stuff which I'll be condensing into one post! As for HK, it was pretty much shopping THE WHOLE TIME so I'm thinking I'll do one post combining my HK "travels" and my haul :D What do you guys think?

For now, bye~
<3Hannah.
