We ate at a cafe called "Tcc" the pasta was SUPER but the green tea smoothie was so URGH... It was supposed to be green tea and banana smoothie but the lady comes over after we've ordered and goes "sorry, we've run out of bananas, we can add extra green tea powder for you?" and I just sat there awkwardly like ... and in my head I was just processing "no banana, no banana, no banana" and after about a minute of silence I go "UMMM, OK?". OMG kind of knew it wasn't going to be good and kind of wish I had the courage to tell her I did't want the drink anymore... *sighs*. So the breakfast was around $60 and yes quite expensive for breakfast but then again who eats pasta for breakfast? LOL
We knew the shops were just going to be even more expensive so we skipped the shopping and headed for the observation deck. I really wanted to go to the infinity pool on top of Marina Bay Sands but it is reserved for the hotel guests only. Piece of advice, if you want to book a room in that hotel (I heard its totally worth it just for the pool because the view is OMG and free drinks :O) definitely do it a month in advance at least. We left everything last minute because we had finals to worry about so couldn't get a room T_T.
ANYWAYS, the tickets for the observation deck was about $23 per adult (prices differed for hotel guests I think). The view was incredible up there, you can see the whole of the Gardens by the Bay, the Singapore Flyer, the river, the Merlion, EVERYTHING. The only thing was the weather wasn't great when we went and it started to sprinkle a little D:
BUT YEAH super nice for photos!!

Do you spot the Merlion? |
After that we took a boat across the seas (JKS just a habour) to see the Merlion. Its a lot faster than taking a taxi and tickets were $6 each, so probably cheaper too! The lady tried to convince me to take a tour around the harbour in the boat for $40 but PLEASE I had just seen the whole of Singapore from above, ain't nobody got time for that! LOLS, i kindly refused of course ;D
And of course, at the Merlion, you got to do the typical touristy pose. AHHHHH

Those pink pants ruined the shot ==' |
And this is when it actually starts raining quite hard so we find a desert place to chill for a bit. The forecast had actually said that every single day we were in Singapore was going to rain so we were super worried but this was the only time it actually rained so PHEW, THANK YOU GOD.

Lady M |
Lady M is a really yummy desert place right next to the Merlion. We had a green tea crepe cake MMM 8/10 with some tea.
Then we walked a huge loop back to the Marina Bay side where the Gardens by the Bay was. It was sooo far and sooooo hot we had to stop by the shopping centre again to grab some froyo! We saw a jogger go by us and WTF?? I swear if I lived in Singapore I'd be so fat, eat, eat, eat and would not have the courage to jog in that heat, EVER. (Not that I jog here either :P)
So after entering the Gardens you have to actually find the reception which is another 1km walk. After that there's a number of conservatories (attractions) you could choose from and it was 2 entries for $28 per adult. It was only $20 for locals which I don't understand...== shouldn't they want to attract tourists by giving them cheaper admission? I guess its so famous they don't really need to?
ANYWAYS, we choose the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest, both totally worth it. Funny story, when we were paying for the tickets, the guy at the next register pulls out a $1000 note. We were legit like WOOOOW, OUT LOUD. We didn't even know Singapore had $1000 notes. Dude, its like 1 to 1 with AUD right? So basically you can buy a car with a small stack of notes :O
ANYWHO, the Flower Dome, as you would've guessed from the name, had lots of pretty flowers in it. So ofc I couldn't resist the photos :P

Doesn't it look like he's eating poop? XD |
It's definitely a place any female would LOVE. I really want to take my mum and grandma there sometime. I could just imagine, they would be there the whole day just pondering over the flowers! 10/10 recommend this place.
Next, in the Cloud Tree Conservatory, there is a huge waterfall as soon as you enter.
Basically here there's a lot more greenery as opposed to flowers. Still pretty cool but if I had to choose, I'd go for the Flower Dome. I'd probs rate this place a 7?

We tried to mimic the wooden sculptures AHAHA who did it better? |

Basically with the Cloud tree, its called that because you walk in circles until you reach the top of the waterfall. And when you're up there you get to walk on these metal bridges (THAT HAVE HOLES IN THEM) and look at all the trees. OMG can't tell you how scared I was and the bf didn't make it better by jumping up and down =='

Bye Bye Cloud Tree |
After Gardens by the Bay, it was pretty much dinner time. We watched a Youtube video recommending this place called Selfie Coffee in Haji Lane. Basically, you take a selfie, get it printed on the foam and then drink your own face!!! OMG. Tell me that does't sound exciting. So we taxi it to Haji Lane and the cafe was easily found. The drink was about $8 (I was expecting waaaaay more because it's so cool) and was actually super yummy. SO we ONOMNOMNOMed until our faces were in our tummies :D LEGIT one of my favourite things in Singapore, the bf didn't really understand my excitement but I'm sure you guys do!

White Chocolate Latte |
Haji Lane also has some little boutiques selling cute clothing and accessories but everything was really expensive and not worth, so we headed to dinner.
Hawker Centres are super famous in Singapore for basically street food thats delicious and cheap (just about the only cheap thing in Singapore). We really wanted to try one so we googled one close to our hotel and taxied there (never really learnt who to use their public transport because ceebed, so had to get everywhere by taxi... PHEW Singapore is small and every ride was around $10). So we get to Hawker Centre and it turns out its closed for Spring Cleaning WTF!!! Thats not what google said!
At least they left a sign there directing us to the Hawker Street nearby...
So we walk another 10 minutes and get to this street lined with mini food stalls YAY. We got Hainanese Chicken, BBQ chicken wings, chicken and beef skewers, sugar cane juice, lemon tea and more fried buns to eat with our Chilli Crab Sauce :D What a feast and for under $40!
That brings this eventful day to a close. Come back to find out what we did in our last day at Singapore!
Bye for now~
<3 Hannah.
